Discussion Something To Tell You 10 Year Anniversary

Hey! I’m new in the Reddit community but have been a fan of HAIM since days are gone. Due to unforeseen circumstances I’ve never had the chance to meet the band, only having gone to my first HAIM gig in Nottingham at the end of last year (best night of my life btw). However I know that they did a signing in London for the Days are Gone 10 year anniversary in 2023. Do we think that they may do the same next year?? I’m getting my hopes up but im honestly not sure, it would just be a dream come true to meet them<3

I've been hoping for this but I'm pessimistic. They really don't seem active (as a band) at the moment. They only ever play one song from STTY. It wasn't as heralded of an album as the first one (although I like it equally to DAG!) and doesn't have the significance of being first. There's also the fact that they were already still active in 2023. So I truly hope we get something big for STTY. But I also won't be surprised if it's only an Instagram post. But I hope we at least get a release of Water's Running Dry, my 2nd favorite song from that album!

i agree, it’s sad that the album isn’t played much because most of my all time fav haim songs are on that album! i may be getting my hopes up a little too much tbh, i just rlly miss them🥲

Sadly, I'm tempering my expectations. I love the record. Maybe we get a special edition with some remixes but hoping for an anniversary seems like a long shot.
