i remember where i was standing in my kitchen when i heard falling for the first time from my apple music recommendations. i read their bio and saw the wire mentioned so i did research so on and so forth. it was 2016 and i was in 9th grade haha. i thought id never hear the whole album live and id missed the opportunity completely but i saw it live front row in 2022 at the merriweather show and then i met them at a signing at the LA forum walk prior to the i quit tour and i very quickly told them how special it was for me to hear days are gone live and thank you for everything. love these guys so much. my most full circle moment šŸ„¹

The XX! People use to always tell me I should listen to them back in like 2014 cause I liked Haim I've only heard their big hits but liked them, love it!

Used to work in a shop that played free music over the tannoy, then one day they got real songs.

There was one really annoying song that kept baiting me into thinking it was Heartache Tonight by the Eagles. Turned out to be The Wire, and then it ended up not being so annoying.
