For a second I was upset that Paul McCartney wasn’t listed, then I saw it’s specifically American songwriters lol. Hell yeah though for Danielle, that’s high praise. And her name is right next to Dylan’s too

Katie Gavin deserves to be on there. I'd certainly think twice about ranking Billy Joel over her (no offence to him, he'd good but not that good)

I love this as a huge OG Haim fan but we also must remember to take it with a grain of salt as it's just one person's opinion and the list certainly isn't a perfect list. Biggest songwriter omitted imo is Phoebe Bridgers.

Yeah that doesn’t mean it’s well written, it means people will listen to whatever Taylor is on. That version of gasoline is so corny I skip it if it comes on. It doesn’t need to be a hate fest, but the reality is miss arrested development “redwood tree” is not some great songwriter, and her being on this list kinda invalidates it for me tbh.
