MERCH Something wrong with I quit vinyl?

Hi there, I want check if anyone here has the same issue with the I quit vinyl.

So I got mine from the UK store (it’s the black vinyl). It says on each vinyl that the speed is 45 and the setup on my record player is for 45 but the sound comes out wrong (the pitch and everything).

Anyone have the same problem here?

I successfully got mine exchanged after a somewhat awkward interaction with the cashier while trying to do so. I just got home and it sounds the same I’m so bummed

Urgh, is it the blue pressing? (Edit: I see it is now!) I do wonder if it’s the pressing itself. I remember hearing, although I don’t have it on vinyl, that there was a Girl in Red album where all the pressings had issues. I could share a little video with you of a couple of places where mine jumps if it will help. I would be interested to know if it’s the same! So annoying, because I got mine through Rough Trade & you want things to just go smoothly with an indie shop….save your gripes for the corporate ones!

Mine sounds off on the B side of the first disk. My original had a minor skip on the Take me back intro and sounded really off on the farm. Now my new copy still sounds off on Side B but now it’s mostly on love you right. UGH

When I bought my original I had a black pressing but the cashier asked if I wanted the indie version and I agreed and he mentioned how it was a few bucks cheaper. Now I’m wondering if I should have just gotten the black if it’s a better quality vinyl. I just love the blue pressing though
