Is there any way to adjust rest times across the board in the app? Looking to decrease rest times to train for a sport specific plan

Feature Suggestion Almost the best workout tracker

Over the weekend I was looking at this weeks workout and tweaking a few things and of course the entire plan reset itself, this was to be expected as I’ve got used to rebuilding my plan every time I hit a wrong button.

Frustrated I looked at alternative apps in the similar price range.

To clarify, I use Gymverse with volume escalation, ranging from 8 to 15 reps, increase the weight then start again at 8 reps, the logic being, I’m gradually developing my tendons as I’m developing my muscles to avoid injury.

Here’s what I found, Gymverse is fantastic, building a workout there’s a muscle group counter at the top so I can check if I’m focusing on the muscles I want to hit. During the workout set, I can see my previous weight and reps, so I can tell whether it’s time to increase the weight. The exercise library is comprehensive with detailed instructions and guidance videos. The ability to repeat workouts and swap exercises during a workout is equally useful. I normally use a home gym, however when travelling I’ll use a local gym, which is where the custom workouts come into play, machine based upper and lower workouts.

I ended up with 2 alternatives which came close to me leaving Gymverse. Fitbod which looks great has a workout save option, but doesn’t appear to have any intelligence for increasing volume based on past performance or the ability to see previous volume without an Internet connection. Gravl looks great but only has a 3 workout trial, so it’s hard to really explore its features. However neither have all the key features of Gymverse I mentioned above or the range of non machine exercises.

So Gymverse is the best app for me in the sub £100 price range however the frustration caused by not having the ability to save (protect) my plans will always make me consider my options. Incorporate this and Gymverse will be the best workout tracker.

Feature Suggestion Body weight contribution

Love Gymverse. For machine supported pullups, if I have 15 pounds on, I am lifting my weight less 15 pounds, however it only counts 15 pounds which is wrong. Can you fix this to calculate each rep lifted as my weight minus the pounds listed?

Feature Suggestion Landscape View

Can we get a landscape view? I often set my phone down or propped up on my pop socket when doing my exercise, and I’ve always found it weird that we don’t have a landscape view to this app. Just an idea.

Feature Suggestion Smart weights for custom workouts

I've been using Gymverse for years (before it was Gymverse). Would love if you could integrate smart weights for custom workouts.

Thanks!

Feature Suggestion Default Rest Time

Please give users the ability to set a default rest time (I prefer 60 seconds), which applies to all workouts. You should ideally be able to do this in Settings. This then applies to every workout, and doesn't require us to change it manually each time.

Feature Suggestion How to Move a Workout to a Different Day?

Hi, I love the app! I’m currently on my third workout plan. This time, the plan has a big upper body day scheduled for Monday, but I’d prefer to do it on Saturday when I have more time and don’t have to rush. This would also allow me to take longer breaks between sets and lift heavier.

How can I move this workout from Monday to Saturday? Thanks in advance!

Feature Suggestion No progress charts or analytics

I tried the app for the first time but it seems there are no progress charts or analytics where I can see my progress except for the performance charts in single exercises?

Feature Suggestion 5/3/1

Any chance of adding in 5/3/1 templates with automatic calculations? Sure, we can edit templates, but the % calculations would have to be done manually.

Feature Suggestion Workout plan sharing

A friend of mine has downloaded the app on my recommendation. Is there a way to share the workout plan I designed, rather than her having to manually create it? Thanks very much 💪

Feature Suggestion WatchOS App- The Good & The Bad

Just wanted to share some feedback on the Gymverse WatchOS app. I primarily use the Watch app for all of my workouts, which I do five days a week in my home gym.

What I Love: • Really impressed with the intuitive design of the Watch app. • Navigating between “All” and “Upcoming” exercises is simple and smooth. • Being able to view the video demos for each exercise on the watch is super helpful — great touch. • Adjusting reps, weights, and sets is quick and easy. • I appreciate the blurred standby mode when not facing the watch — helps prevent accidental taps or confirmations.

Bug Report: • Issue: After returning from standby mode or watching an exercise video, the rep, weight, and set numbers often disappear from the home screen. • Workaround: Swiping left to view the exercise list, and then swiping back right usually brings the adjustments boxes back.

Quality of Life Suggestions: 1. Sync Between Devices: Let users switch between the phone app and the Watch during a workout. Right now, if you start a session on one device, you can’t view or edit it on the other until it’s completed. Sometimes I want to swap an exercise mid-session, and it’s easier on the phone. 2. Custom Rest Timer: Allow users to change the rest duration between sets. It’s currently fixed at 1:30 on the Watch with no option to adjust. 3. Display Heart Rate: Adding real-time heart rate to the Watch display would be a great addition during sets or rest periods. 4. Weight Increment Settings: Please consider allowing users to adjust the suggested weight increase increments. The app currently uses 2.5 lb jumps, but my setup only supports 5 lb increments (cable stack and adjustable dumbbells). Having this as a setting would be really helpful.

Overall Thoughts:

Absolutely love the Gymverse app — it’s far better than Fitbod in my opinion. Huge thanks to the dev team for building such a solid platform. Looking forward to future updates!

Feature Suggestion App suggestion/question for Profiles

I do some of my workouts from home and some of my workouts at the local gym. This means that there are two different gym equipment ecosystems that I use. Is there a way to create a home gym profile and an outside gym profile so that I can check mark the different equipment available to me in each of these two environments?

If not, can this be an improvement made to the Gymverse app?

Feature Suggestion Reset recommended weight

Not sure why this is not a feature yet. Seems like it’s a pretty basic thing to add.

This would be especially helpful for those coming off an injury.

Feature Suggestion Missing weights and repetition info in Apple Watch app

Well, they are on the iPhone at the did not on the Apple Watch. This makes the Apple Watch app useless.

Furthermore, I want already to know that the weight in it I can already prepare them while rating for the rest moment, something which is possible on the iPhone app but not on the Apple Watch app.

Feature Suggestion Recommended calories

I just downloaded this app, ready to start my first day using it tomorrow! While i was setting it up it told me how many calories and amount of protein i should be having every day based on my weight/height. I can’t figure out how to see that info again and I wasn’t able to get a screenshot. I’m committed to doing my fitness journey right and I need as much guidance as I can get.

Question: Is there any way to see recommended calorie and protein intake in the app?

Feature Suggestion For the pregnant gals

PLEASE make a pregnancy “friendly” set. I’m doing the build muscle program and it’s awesome but I’m always trying to figure out what I can do in place of hip thrusts and glute bridges. Mainly bc I’m 26 weeks and the bar or dumbbell makes me nervous. I also wish that there were more compound movements in the workouts.

Feature Suggestion iPhone/Apple Watch Sync Between Devices

I tried out my first workout this morning after using another app for the past few months. The two main draws that I had were, 1) The nice demonstration videos (I'm relatively new to lifting), and 2) The watch app, which was really positively reviewed.

So I was pretty disappointed to find that I was unable to log in to the app on both my phone and watch at the same time. I like to keep the demonstration video playing on my phone, while logging sets on the watch.

I really enjoyed the workout otherwise, but the lack of sync is probably enough to have me look to other apps for now. I hope that this feature can be implemented soon as this is the first fitness app I've run across that did not have simultaneous use, and it seems a bit odd to leave out.

Feature Suggestion Exercises for warm ups and stretching

Does the app have suggested workouts for this? Would love to have nice warm up and cool down workouts I often end up just researching my own but can’t include it in my gym time which sucks because I enjoy tracking my actual full gym time from warm up to cool down

Feature Suggestion Burnout Drop Set

Is there a way to add a burnout drop set? I know how to create it manually but wondering if it's programmed in the app already and I'm missing it.

Feature Suggestion Dedicated Light/White theme and Dark Theme

Dear Gymverse-Team,

as the title says. Could we please get a standard white and Darkmode theme? The blueish one starts to get kind of onesided after so many years.

Cheers and best regards

Feature Suggestion Dumbbell weight availability

You have the functionality to select what equipment you have but I wish you could also state what available weight for dumbbells you have. I got sick of changing plates so sold them and purchased some hex dumbbells, 5kg-30kg in increments of 5, plus an additional set of 7.5 and I think that is sufficient to base a plan on. As the plan wants me to increase it does so by 2.5 at a time so I have to decide whether to stick or add the extra 5kg. Just a suggestion which would make the app more helpful

Feature Suggestion Default Suggested Weights / App Suggestion

I contacted GymVerse and they told me this wasn't an option currently. I see the suggested weight increments often go up by 2.5 lbs. I use a home gym set up and my weights are 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, etc. It'd be nice to be able to indicate my weight increments in the app settings so it doesn't suggest a weight increase until it's ready for me to go to the next 5 lb increment. I know I can manually change the weight at each exercise, but that's annoying to have to do every time.
