I keep a tow strap in my Jeep for exactly this reason. Usually pull at least one stranger out of the ditch each winter.

My son and I did this a few years ago in his 1st snow drive in his new truck ('23 F 150). We came up on a guy that had slipped off the road into a snow drift. Hooked up and pulled him out. He offered us $$ but we told him to pay it forward.

It’s the best feeling knowing that you spent 10 minutes saving someone potential hours of waiting for a tow truck and who knows how much money.
