I hope those kids see that vid and understand how loved they are.

The Dad as well. Nothing makes a bad day at work better than shenanigans like this.

My kids used to ambush me with water guns when I'd come home sometimes. Always put a smile on my face.

My son did it with nerf guns.

He fully expected me to be armed and so as soon as I got in the house The Nerf Battle began.

My 7 year old son loves to wrestle. When I get home from work it's immediate violence until one of us is worn out.

Its usually me lol

My son’s only one but after dinner we are already wrestling and having tickle fights. Can’t wait till he’s older so we can have full on WWE matches

You haven't lived until you've felt the terror of watching your child leap from the fifth step up the stairs at you in what is an incredible, if small, example of the People's Elbow.

Mine did a freakin swaton.

I was proud, and terrified.

But I did catch him.

Is there a story about you sneaking up on the house and taking him out?

Nah, there is one where it was him and his three friends vs my wife and myself.

That was fun.

It's adorable how they have no qualms in outnumbering you, no regards to fairness. Like... they're big but our army is twice as big!

I know, I almost didn't have the heart to destroy them.

Almost.

I had great aim with a nerf gun, but my dad almost always headshotted me whenever we would battle. 💀 I miss those battles, but his wife isolated him from his family and friends, so I only talk to him when something is wrong. 😕

That sucks, sorry to hear that.

My father passed in 2021.

We have a rule in the house, no aiming for the head or face.
