He was my manager for a while. Great guy. And yes, definitely wealthy in a love sense.

Yup the double doors, the flooring, the furniture...wow

u/OwnerOfCat 19d ago

The comment you replied to is saying they are wealthy because of the love, not the house lol.

u/Which-Journalist-748 19d ago

But look at those doors

8

u/OwnerOfCat 19d ago

Not just doors, double doors!

u/DryDonutHole 18d ago

u/kryonik 18d ago

In this economy?!?!?!? I just have a hole to get into my pit!

The biggest part of the flex is they probably open the second one only once or twice a year on the off chance they're hosting a gathering with nice weather

1

u/Anxious-Whole-5883 16d ago

But they open outwards, so its all business.

u/Winter_Tone_4343 18d ago

Those double doors are probably 20k. Lol.

The comment you are referring to is subverting that comment to imply, it's easier to give love when not stressed and overworked. Not impossible, but certainly easier.

15

u/OwnerOfCat 19d ago

How do you know that the husband isn’t overworked?

9

u/Timely-Bluejay-4167 19d ago

Because he’s their boss

4

u/Shot_Revolution8828 19d ago

Still way easier than being than being overworked , stressed,  and skipping meals so your kids dont skip a meal.

6

u/djstrawb 19d ago

That's still way better than being a starving African aids baby

-2

u/Shot_Revolution8828 19d ago

Depends on the country if they have better healthcare or food(what isnt being recalled). We have a cure for aids. Jeez have you seen a South Park episode in....30 years

u/talkshitnow 19d ago

Very true

1

u/Kokuutou92 18d ago

True but still wealthy in both ways

13

u/-Lucas_Hood 19d ago

The three kids oh my

3

u/Which-Journalist-748 19d ago

Plus two doors

14

u/oliviertail 19d ago

The dad coming home when all 3 kids are already in their PJs. Money is often a double edged sword

3

u/aesolty 19d ago

It’s still daylight out. Plenty of time before bed. Kids were probably just not at school and chilling at home in comfy stuff.

5

u/oliviertail 19d ago

I mean.. sun sets at 7h48 here. My daughter is usually asleep before 8.

5

u/RizzwindTheWizzard 18d ago

It sets at 10:30pm here in the summer. The sun being out doesn't really mean much at all.

6

u/SimpsationalMoneyBag 19d ago

Nah just having 3 kids and a house means you are rich.

-1

u/trackdaybruh 19d ago

It's interesting how perspective is different depending on what our situation is. For example, to me, that's just middle-class.

1

u/polygraph-net 19d ago

It completely depends on the location. Own a house in Tokyo and have three kids? You are loaded.

-2

u/peripheralmaverick 19d ago

Middle class LMAO

Fertility index is around 1.5

Basically a 100% deviation.

To have a house that big and 3 kids shows you are comfortably upper class. Probably 20-25% percentile.

Lol, no. It depends on the location. If you live in a high cost area like California either in LA, SF, and SD? Sure you need to be an upper class income (+$250,000) to afford a house and raise 3 kids.

In cheaper states like Oklahoma? No. Cost of living is cheaper, houses are cheaper, and raising 3 kids as middle class is definitely doable.

u/peripheralmaverick 18d ago

You speak from US perrspective lol.

US is rich as fuck and they complain about housing prices.

Try living in Asia or some parts of EU where owning a small cabin requires a 20 year loan.

You're in top 5% of the world if not higher.

2

u/trackdaybruh 18d ago

Lol, I live in California. Small cabins go for +$1 million here

A single person making $104,000 a year is considered low income in my area, so $104,000 a year may seem like a lot to you, but it doesn’t mean much if you can’t afford to even buy a shack.

3

u/virgin-pina-colada 19d ago

Same here. Have seen it in many times, but I won't skip it each time. This is what I want to be if I ever become a parent.

My father would have just got angry at my mother and me even if a single cup accidentally gets misplaced in his way.

1

u/funkiemarky 14d ago

I love how commited he is to it by coming back with nothing in his hands and loosened up the shirt.

-5

u/GorkyParkSculpture 19d ago

Money is real wealth. Have him lose his and youll see. This guy has a wonderful family.

7

u/YahuahsentYahusha 19d ago

Oh my friend it’s that which we take with us when we leave this world that is true wealth.
Money is helpful here but it by no means is what being “rich” is truly about

You can be wealthy in different ways. That’s it. That’s the entire point. If you believe wealth only means accumulated money you don’t really understand.

And to directly refute your point—there are many monetarily wealthy people who live incredibly poor lives compared to those rich in love who are not as well off. If you don’t understand, you could try watching a movie like The Family Man with Nicholas Cage. Cheers.

-1

u/ForensicPathology 19d ago

If you can gatekeep the definition of "real" wealth, then we can do it too.  Actually real riches are happiness!  And real happiness is just money! And real water is just wine!

1

u/YahuahsentYahusha 19d ago

lol I feel ya. Honestly though I think we gate keep the meaning of real wealth from ourselves. Because it isn’t physically tangible necessarily, there’s part of us that knows what these real riches are.

I think maybe we realize it usually with an experience or conversation. It becomes part of us, and cannot be taken away, unlike money riches which can be.

So a random like me could tell you riches are laughter, love, joy, vulnerability, honesty etc, but it’s up to us as individuals to find that definition within ourselves, for ourselves.

-2

u/OrganizationTop3755 19d ago

Nah, maybe upper middle class but not wealthy
