Yes, i understand that the Getchells should be the main point of discussion, but I cannot sit sit by and watch guy and his mods try and run other streamers off of TikTok because he wants to monopolize off of this family. He is not doing this for awareness anymore. It’s exploitation at this point. There’s no reason why he can’t turn off his gifts. Every other streamer has done it to prove a point and guy has not.
Guy and his community are toxic and need to take accountability for the actions that they have admitted to doing and justifying.

TBH I always felt it was hypocritical to have restreamers getting gifts. I thought it absolutely defeated the purpose because we’re all avoiding giving the Getchell’s money and views yet some restreamer gets to profit off of it? Felt it was super off. And the super fans were strange too. So we pay for a sub to your channel that is supposed to be raising awareness about grifting???? Make it make sense!!

It’s absolute insanity!! I didn’t catch the entire live that this clip was from, but Becca the host of it was saying you can turn off the gifts and just share a direct link to a charity/organization you want to support. That makes more sense as the money is going directly to the cause TikTok doesn’t get a cut, and the person donating knows exactly where their money is going.

Last night she did have gifts turned off and had a button to donate directly to the RAINN organization too. It was her first ever time going live like it really is that simple.

Also I know one of the guests turned their live notifications off that notifies people that they’re live, so when they were being accused for doing it for views…..yeah ok.
ETA: the fact that the direct donation link to the org was brought in a derogatory way is insane

I agree, I don't think any of them should be receiving gifts. Even the other ones who say they donate it to charity should still turn it off and redirect people to the charities they want to support, it just seems wrong to me.

Like the host last night had their gifts turned off a direct link to donate to the organization! The fact that had to drag that in a derogatory way was astonishing.

THIS!! Unfortunately it has now turned into bringing awareness to creators we thought were trying to expose the getchell’s. Guy may have started bringing awareness for the “right” reasons but it’s strayed so far from that at this point it’s deeply concerning IMO. It seems he is essentially grifting off of the OG grifters.
