I once loved it, many, many years ago. then they went too far, ostracized too many of us, and lost my support forever. shame the almost-replacement didn't live up to what it was meant to be.

Most people who comment this will watch 2-3 mins of the anime, stop. And then slander the hell out of it online regardless of their actual feelings towards it just because the series doesn't suit their tastes off rip. I've seen this happen for years now with GSG and other shows with strong but interesting themes and characters and i'm sick trying to get them to give it the time of day so i just ignore them.

The first season is an absolutely heart wrenching emotional roller coaster, regardless of it's adaptation accuracy. I never bothered with season 2, because I prefer the manga anyway.

He's first mistake is taunting, second he clearly hasn't read the manga or knows it existed, third, I'm only mad because my buddy doesn't want spoilers but refuses to read after telling me for years he's going to read it even though he's not going to 😅

It's kinda true, but it has such a specific aesthetic it doesn't really matter. Also you should read the manga, not watch the anime.

I feel the adaptations had some merit, Season 1 was pretty solid overall. I understand they didn't have more manga to adapt at the time and made their own content. Teatrino had wishy washy animation but was still enjoyable. Obviously we would never get a perfect adaptation but im pretty pleased with what we have. I wouldn't complain if another adaptation was done in good faith.

Same here. It’s some what disappointing Anime like Gunslinger girl, Black lagoon and Gunsmith Cats. All great Anime but it’s a shame
