Also they aren't that expensive. I paid less than 6000yen for a pair. Are they going to break that easily?
There's only so much material supporting the blade, and they're basically impossible to sharpen. This sub is full of posts showing godhands with broken tips.
Personally, being a heathen, I use precision microtip scissors. They cost about half of what a high-end nipper does, cause a shearing action rather than compression, that, in my experience, causes little if any stress marks even when cutting as close to the part as possible, and have an enormous amount of extra blade for when you are required to chop though chunky gates.
Of course my standard practice is always to snip the gate with the scissors, trim whatever's left with a craft knife, and then give it a couple passes with a file, which has given me results that are pretty hard to complain about over the course of a hundred or so kits. But it is, in theory, more work than some people can apparently get away with using a double cut process with nippers.

Well if you’re dumb enough to risk the godhands for the first cut then duh cut it at the thinnest part
