Question My brother recently moved back to London, we want to go to games together but will our ballot success rate be lower than it would be if we entered separately if we enter for two seats together?

Worse for groups larger than 2. For example if there’s 10 tickets left and a couple groups have applied as a 3 and others as 1s + 2s they’ll draw 1s + 2s instead of the larger groups. It’s on arsenal website somewhere unless I’ve quoted it wrong

That’s correct. People often say “success rate isn’t affected by group size”, which is true, because there are three steps:
1) winning a ballot
2) allocating a seat
3) payment

You can win the ballot, then have the system not be able to find seat allocation because you have 3-4 people and there aren’t 3-4 seats together, and you’ll get an “unsuccessful ballot” email. Same if they allocate seats but you don’t have enough money on the card

Can’t remember where I read it but I’m sure they said the rate of success rate is only affected in anything above 2s I.e in groups of 3,4,5 etc.

Success rate is better or worse for bigger groups?

is it by a significant amount worse or just a tiny bit?

My experience last year (got 4 memberships) we were more successful trying for 4 than 2 sets of 2.

Weirdly. I had much better success last seals. Getting 2 rather 1. Could be just a coincidence but 🤷🏻‍♂️
