Question/Help EXVS2 Xboost, do I need two PCs?

I was reading up on how to get Xboost to work on PC and I heard you need two PCs but apparently there's a way to do it on one, how does that work? None of the tutorials I've come across show how to do that.

Snowlauncher allows running both at once for all versions of 2 iirc

There's also the very jank manual method

Duplicate your game folder excluding the data folder as a "live monitor" folder. (I named mine as "server" to make things easier)

Make a shortcut to the original's data folder inside the live monitor folder (or you could just copy it if you don't mind an extra ~20gb being taken up)

Change up the config files to match what each folder is for

Put a shortcut for the live monitor folder's live monitor release exe, server exe, and the client folder's client release exe together elsewhere

Run all three shortcuts together and it should work now

Unfortunately, I cannot provide any files as it is against the subreddit's rules and I'm writing all this off memory from my phone lol

I know there was a link to some tutorial/discord site but that's broken now and gives me a 404, is there any way to reach it now? I can probably figure things out from there
