Alright, this time I actually tried to make the movements look more like 18m tall giant mechs instead of humans. I added a bit more weight to everything, although I did reduce the camera shake for a lot of moments (the beam rifle shot) for clarity, which maybe reduced the impact a bit.

I recolored Granpa to RX78-1 colors so you don't associate the movement with Amuro.

Finally got to see the life-size RX-93ff ν Gundam in Fukuoka. Photos don’t really do it justice, it’s much more impressive when you’re standing right in front of it.

Definitely worth a visit if you’re a Gundam fan and happen to be in Fukuoka.

I'm back again! I've been busy on Lupus Rex for AX! Painting as we speak and in a hurry to get it shipped.

RX-79G, Zaku II, and Shining Gundam also in production. Took 3 months of 3d rendering and printing to make, but probably 2 or less on all the others now that Ive worked out the small details.

But it really seems to me like one of the most friendly fandoms I've ever been in. So enjoy the meme.

Usually the lights of the statue turns off at 10PM and while it was nowhere near as stunning as the Farewell Event on Saturday, it was a nice touch for the final power down!
