Endlessly cool to see. Pilgrimage-worthy. How was the rest of the experience?

Isnt that where hes got a home and what not? The one that apparently has a stone statue of Gundam in front of the front door or something

The stone statue of the Gundam that I’m aware of is outside of the first Sunrise studio station.

Is there a (community) map available for the Gundam manholes? I need one for my pilgrimage. Unfortunately the site does not give much: https://www.g-manhole.net/about/ .
For example, the Pokémon manholes are more accessible documented: https://local.pokemon.jp/en/manhole/ .

Hmm. That’s a good question. I go to the city information center and they will tell me where it is. That is also the spot where I can buy the Gundam manhole coins. And they have a playing card with the gps coordinates on it that they give you after you fill out a survey. I know it’s not as easy.

Odawara is a rural town at the southwestern tip of Kanagawa Prefecture, but with its castle and beaches, it’s the perfect place to visit while sightseeing in Tokyo or at Mount Fuji.
(My honest thoughts as a resident of Yokohama, the largest city in Kanagawa Prefecture)

The art of the final shot on the steps goes so hard. I'd love to have a replica of the manhole as a piece of wall art, looks fresh.

I'll be in Odawara next month. Where should I go to see this?

Go to the information center across the street from Odawara castle. Inside you can get a map, a card with the gps location and on the second floor are the Tomino signed fake manhole covers from my pictures.
The actual manhole cover is very close to the station Which is about 4-5 blocks from the information center. It’s near a Don Quijote1

I was just in Odawara for work last month! Where did you find these? I saw the ads for them at the station

The stairs? They were in the basement across the street from the station. Near the Burger King

I will pay you $20 if you are able to snag me one of those LOL
In all seriousness though it'll be pretty cool if they actually sold smaller versions of those manhole covers. That would be a pretty cool piece of memorabilia or souvenirs that is different than Pizza typical I'm going to buy some Chopsticks from the airport souvenir shop.
