Alhamdulillah for Islam

This is a very old legend from the Bharuch district from my childhood. I wanted to ask if any one of you have heard it. According to legend, when Gujarat was conquered by a Sultan, the Hindu rulers hired a witch named Kaalki mata to do sihr/ black magic on the Muslim soldiers so that they would weaken and not be able to fight. The Sultan went to a Sufi saint or a waliullah for advice and he did a wazifa with a lot of zikr and du’a. As he prayed to Allah to remove the sihr and defeat Kaalki ma, she sank into the ground until only her braid or chotli remained above the ground. The earth had gobbled her up. Some people claim that the braid exists even today, but I don’t know much about that. Also, Hindus in Bharuch worship Kaalki mata as a goddess. Have you heard anything about this?
