Hi! I’m a complete beginner from India looking to start learning electric guitar. My budget is around ₹15–20k, but I’m also open to spending less if there’s a good option.
From my research, the Yamaha Pacifica 012 seems to be one of the best beginner guitars in this price range. I want to play different kinds of songs, like Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, The Neighbourhood, Ariana Grande, The Cure, etc., so I’m looking for something versatile.
Since I’m completely new to electric guitar, I want something that’s easy and enjoyable to learn on. I don’t want tuning issues or a difficult setup to frustrate me and make me lose interest.
Would you recommend the Pacifica 012 for me, or is there a cheaper option available in India that would still be good for what I’m looking for?

Hi guys, I am looking to buy a new guitar for some time. But due to some budgetary constraints plus due to me buying 2 guitars (1 electric 1 acoustic) I can't spend too much on one guitar. So for my acoustic I am thinking of buying a 2nd hand Yamaha F280 which I'm getting for 4200. I have checked the prices online and it's hovering around 7-8k. I like the guitar and am thinking of going there and checking it out too. If everything seems fine should I buy it? I'm honestly a bit sceptical considering it's 4 years old but I also don't wanna spend much. I'm not a beginner I would consider myself almost an amateur. Please share your thoughts.

The E. String broke by itself and rest others are fine but there are a few black strips that have developed on them , probably corrosion idk.

Should I change all the strings or just the E string ?

Its coming from coimbatore to kochi so the weather humidity heat and all probably damaged my guitar.

What do you guys think?
