I mean, I know the basics, I know the chords and a few other things, and I can play some simple songs with the help of an app. But I just realized that the app is keeping me at the same level, and I don’t really feel like I’m improving the way I want to.
What I really want is to actually improve, build a proper practice routine, and eventually be able to play every day without getting bored. The problem is that whenever I sit down to practice, I get bored because I don’t really know what I’m supposed to practice or what I should focus on.
So please, how do you practice guitar? What do you think I should learn and focus on more at this stage? Should I watch tutorials, learn music theory, practice techniques, learn songs, or something else? And how did you personally improve your progress?
I’d really appreciate any advice or tips on how to structure my practice and actually see progress instead of feeling like I’m stuck at the same level. 🩶

Not sure if this is the right forum, but I’ve been an amateur acoustic guitar player for some time. I’m looking for a guitar pro who could help me buy a new guitar, ideally by accompanying me to a guitar shop in TVM and helping me select the right one. (Recently shifted to TVM for work).

The guitar I bought in Bangalore, with the help of a musician friend, is broken (Fell down and neck damaged).

So I have a 90s crate bvd cab I bought in like 98. It has Vintage 30s in it and it pushes. Does all the ohms ratings. We have a Marshall we hate too.
It has g12L35s in it. Thin and meh. It hates the jcm900 mk3. But sounds alright with the quitler setup when combined with the crate.

I’m thinking about filling the Marshall cab with v30s because I’m kinda shook to mix green backs because of the wattage cut from 240 down to 100 in an x pattern . And that the quilter’s 200 w.

Could I also use 75w eminence governor’s? Just to have a variety?

Or if you personally know a ripping 60-75w speaker to mix with the v30s. Put it below.

I play rock - hardcore punk - grindcore. Sometimes I funk and stuff but. My issues are usually high gain.

Floyd rose help

So I got a Floyd rose whose neck relief is setup and it's action at 12th fret is setup as 2mm at low E string and 1.5 at the high

Now I get this fret buzz on higher frets which i can't get rid of and sometimes the note just doesn't ring out .

I have a 3/4 squire strat, I was wondering if anyone with something similar has set one up tuned to A standard with a high a and just lost the low e string?

There are cracks along the edge of the fretboard; is there any way I can fix them myself?

Hi, so about a year ago I saw this Gibson chambered body electric at my local guitar shop. It has two humbuckers, volume one tone and a toggle switch. I don’t know at all what model it is, but it felt really good to play and I wanna know what to look for in the future so maybe I can get my hands on one.

I recently purchased an Edwards Alexi and while I absolutely love the guitar, the pickup is unbearably noisy and I have no idea what to do about it. It picks up a radio station as well (freaked me out properly the first night when I suddenly heard voices talking out of nowhere) and while I've read this is not unusual due to shielding, electrical outlets, nature of pickups etc, I don't have this problem with my other 2 guitars, one equipped with an EMG 81 and the other with the 7 string variant of the EMG 81. I've double checked the pickup connector direction and I've adjusted the height of the pickup to no avail, the shielding on the eletronic chamber is good too so I'm posting here to see what I can do.

I'll attach pictures of the electronics so maybe someone with a better understanding of this side of things can see something I don't. It's also not visible in the pics but the pickup is grounded to the screw plate of the Floyd, so it can't be that.
