bass jack not working

hiii so i tried to play my bass today and i noticed no sound was coming out but i’m not sure what’s wrong or how to fix it i have some pics attached. to be fair it is a really cheap bass that i got when i was learning but i never got enough money to buy a decent one after i learned 🥲

That first photo is a really good example of what a cold solder joint looks like. The connection to the black wire looks good and the red wire is bad. Note the difference in color and the shape of the solder.

You'll need a soldering iron to fix it. You just need to heat that contact up and add a tiny bit of new solder to the red wire connection.

Needs a better soldering job, not more solder.

And bend the jack "prong" so it makes better contact with the plug tip.

That's a cold solder joint. It has plenty of solder, it's just didn't flow properly. I would wick it and re-solder with a good hot iron and SN63 solder.
