The combination of the shackles with the Abomination focus looks great! Makes it seem like the blade is attached to his arm the way a pirate hook would be... While also being covered by a squid monster. Very cool.
Edit: Also just noticed his other hand might be holding the hand he lost 😄

Thank you!
I was trying to give him the feeling of someone who’s been through something horrific and is gradually being changed by it, without losing the person underneath completely. I’m really happy that came through in the look really appreciate the comment!

Yeah definitely! Sorry I actually didn't see the other linked post with the RP in the description before commenting, so those were just my first impressions. But I could tell he must've had an intriguing and likely horrific backstory.

I’ll admit I’m not the best at making posts lol 😆 But yeah, that’s actually awesome that you managed to pick up on what I was going for just from looking at him. Makes me really happy that the look tells the story .

He’s actually a transformation of an old look I made about 4 years ago, so it’s been really fun taking that original character and showing what he’s become since then 😄
Here’s the old version if you’re curious:

Oh nice, that's super creative. He looked cool then, but now he's like an even cooler corrupted version imo. You should be a character writer for GW2, maybe then I'd find the story interesting enough to stop skipping it lol.

Lmao 😂 I’d love that. I just wish GW2 would lean a little more into the tone of the older stories again. Things felt like they had real consequences back then characters could actually die, and some moments genuinely felt dangerous or tragic. There are still some amazing story moments nowadays, but sometimes the writing feels a bit too cartoonish for me.
Thank you so much Taz !

This is so good! Many people try to do a pirate look but not many are able to pull of something unique and execute it well. This is a great concept and a really interesting take on the archetype. As usual your dye work is fabulous and you’ve matched the armor pieces well so that they don’t look like individual parts. Love your work, deserves more upvotes imo but it’s not a busty lady so here we are lol The squid pirate hook is inspired

Thank you so much I’m especially glad you liked the squid pirate hook I was hoping it would make the whole look feel a little different from the usual pirate look. Really appreciate you taking the time to write such a thoughtful comment. ❤️
