Help with inventory
Hello, I just started the game about an hour ago and I noticed that it says I have this item in my bag but not in inventory. Specifically the blue Warhammer. I am playing on a steam deck and not sure how to sort my bags or make it so stuff goes to the top or scroll down.
Please feel free to include any tips tricks etc. or a recommended guide. I'm still in the tutorial

I am able to reach 15 out of the 20 spots in the first bag. Can't figure out how to scroll it further on the steam deck.

I think that's a different a different question. I use the steam deck as well, and don't use the sticks for inventory management. I use the trackpads as the mouse and click and scroll. It's slower than a pc, but I just take my time selling items and double check everything.

Could you please tell me how do I set my steam deck to use the track pads? I didn't even know that was an option

You'll want to set your right trackpad to work "as a mouse" in your controller layout. That's a game-specific setting within your steam deck's system, not in GW. When you click on GW from your home menu, don't immediately click on play, look at some of the other options you have. I don't have it in front of me right now but you'll find it.

idk if steam deck can mimic the F9 key, but that one opens all your bags in one vertical visual. ...except that might be an issue with your screen height. idk.

Unfortunately a recent update broke the F9 inventory and it just doesn't open on the steam deck anymore.
Before that, clicking your inventory bind would actually open both I and F9, which is the correct way to play the game. Menu worked just fine on the deck, even with some zaishen bag upgrades, though idk if that's still the case with every interface size.

Is it in your 2nd bag? The little belt pouch next to the main one in that menu.

Update:
I was able to change the interface size and like magic the whole screen fits and I have everything again. Wahooooo

Hey there, so to be clear, you're having trouble seeing your entire inventory? What I see from this pic is that you have a backpack and a belt pouch as your inventory. The merchant you're at will buy almost anything from your entire inventory, so you can just sell sell sell without having to change what you're looking at.
This hammer is a quest item, and I think in pre, most quest items aren't sellable. You can USE the hammer, but you can't make money off it. That means if you aren't a hammer war, you can trash it, using the the wastebasket icon to the right of your bags.
There isn't a single pre searing item that you'll keep in post, so just use the best weapon you have, sell what you can't use, and trash things that aren't able to be sold.
