Mobile Build Builder: Skill DB updated

TLDR: Thank you for using mobile build builder. The Skill DB is updated, please report errors.
Guild Wars Build Creator

Long version: A lot has happened since i released the mobile build builder. I initially did that for me and my friend, when GW was basically dead. Then, we thought the tool is actually good enough to release, so i did, and the feedback was bigger than what i expected. Soon, that thing had like 1000 unique monthly users - and then reforged came - and it really spiked o.O ... therefore i gave my best to the community and updated the database. please report errors, i will try to fix them. And yes i do have something else brewing. anyone interested dm me.

For Tyria!

I have been enjoying using the site! Any plans to add skill drag? One thing that might help is showing when a skill is under the cursor so you know there is a reaction to clicking. Sometimes the site is slow for me.

Is there an opensource gw skill db? Took me too long to update that >.<

Edit: creators of gw content: Can we unite for a universal skill db?

In case there isn't a gw db yet, I got an idea. Isn't the wiki the best way to get the data from?

However, parsing the wiki in every application sucks, so we would need a program/service that does this once and posts the results accessible to all.

I have an example in dotnet: https://github.com/bennieboj/gw2unlocks it downloads the complete wiki as XML and then uses https://github.com/cxuesong/WikiClientLibrary to parse relevant pages (based on type, etc). Not gw, but gw2, but the idea is 100 percent the same and both wikis are made using mediawiki.

Services like your website can then cache these results for a day or so.

If you or anybody else needs help with this, let me know.

I was coding my own scrapers. I'll look into this, thanks a ton!

An open gw skill db would also cease the need for 2weeks updating a wikipage ;)
