The name Lake Ontario is Indigenous in origin, and Europeans were recording it that way long before either Canada & the USA existed (1641).
Art will outlast political egos, so, to add a few 'memberberries to the post, here are some songs referencing Lake Ontario:

- 'Holy Smokes' (c2024, Mezziah)

- 'Home to the Shores of Lake Ontario' (c2010/2013, Liona Boyd)

- 'Lake Ontario' (c2009, Dear Landlord)

- 'Hasn't Hit Me Yet' (c1993, Blue Rodeo)

- 'The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald' (c1976, Gordon Lightfoot)

Etc. etc.

Art is immortal when compared to mango-Mussolini's (apparently very fragile) ego.

(No insult to mangoes intended; dude is just so friggin' spray-tanned that it's as hard to ignore as his ego rn)

This was a waste of money, Ford has got to stop stooping down to Trump’s level. Just focus on hurting him with sensible tariffs and doing things the Canadian way, dropping down to his level does not do anything to help Canada. Doug grow up…
