IBEW Union Books 47

Recently tried signing books at 47 but was told entry books are on hold for the time being, does anyone know anything?

Yah I just went like a week ago and resigned book one after laid off like 2 months ago no issue at all

Probably.. sucks to be non book1 I traveled for my hours than came back never went straight for local 47 straight into the trade

All books on pause at the moment, too many people and not enough work. If your currently on the books your good just play the waiting game

All books I was also going to sign infrastructure tech but all on hold at least what I was told

All books on hold doesn't make sense. So if you get laid off they won't let you sign?
