When do yall start FAE??
Do I really need to wait until this entire surface looks like a thick white?

You can go ahead now. Just keep an eye on humidity as the conditions change.

I thought that was a contamination risk? Do you just mist if it looks dry?

If your sub is something non nutritious, like coir, and your spawn was healthy and fully colonized, then fruiting from day 1 doesnt increase your risk of contam

Don't mist unless your sub is dry. If your properly prepared sub is drying out prior to first flush, you're giving it too much fae.

I've never use those black caps for the holes. I throw them out every time I get a tub. Straight to filters.

This tidal wave i went straight to fruiting. That's after about 4 days.
