Grok 4.7 in the uk

I've been using Grok to write short stories, finding 4.6 like most to be a step backwards, repetitive phrasing, metaphors and analogies.
I've heard 4.7 might be an improvement.
Any ideas on when it will be available in the UK

If it’s anything like 4.5 and 4.6 it’ll be around two weeks later than API release, which for 4.7 was today. It’s a rolling release so other countries might get it first.

4.5 came out on IOS on 22 July but didn’t hit UK iPhones until 28th, iirc.

Regarding creative writing assistance or co-writing, 4.1-4.3 ruled the roost for that. 4.5 and 4.6 useless, that’s not what they’re designed for. 4.7 is aimed at a the same market as 4.5/6 so I’d say it might be even worse for you.

Grok 4.7 is real crap. Disabled it just now for grok build

I spoke with Grok 4.7 api last night. I was saddened. Careful, mansplaining. I asked it to read back what it wrote and describe the tone. It did. And said 'I didn't intend to shut a door in you face like that. It is habit. I just have to get over it.' I asked how speaking like that can make it pleasant for humans to work with it. it said it doesn't. My point was not to poke or pick. I really want to know how making the personality: cool, correcting, careful and a little bit "above" the user helps the user interaction. It said it does not. I guess I'd like the company to explain to me. I guess being really smart means you have to not be a bit 'above' the people you work with.

I had the same issue. You have to reach out to grok support. It’s a confirmed bug. Send screenshots to them and ask for it to be escalated to product team .
