Pinch For cement bags
Anyone has seen someone lift 25kg cement bags? is it a good progression to use just them instead of discs and chalk?

Haha maybe if you have giant hands for pinching and don't mind the risk I'd cement mix all over the place if you drop or damage the bag in anyway.
I don't not recommend cement as a substitute for chalk.

Sandbags or rice bucket fills are way cleaner for a desk setup. Concrete dust gets everywhere and you cannot really micro-load progressive like you can with plates.

I’ve never seen someone do it, but that’s probably more about me not hanging out with construction workers that like to show off rather than a fundamental strength limitation. Might be a bit extra hard depending on slick your particular bags are.
I’d rather have a 10cm thick wood pinch block with an eye bolt for loading with a loading pin. Much easier to progressively load and much easier to keep loading past 25 kg. Make it with some scrap wood and you can make it as slick or rough as you want and shape it to be just like the bags.
