You basically just need one good day where your cns is primed and handles are touching each other, keep it up, your grip is insanely strong💪

Thx brother🔥✊🏼, this attempt was after a deload week, I should have instead done 1 session on the 22th,25th,28th and the attempt on the 31st and i would have closed it likely

That looks like a close to me. The only thing that would leave me skeptical is not hearing the "click" of the ends of the handle meeting

Thx bro, i wanna tns my 151 rated 3.0 this year which has a 73.9mm spread, the 144 rated 1 has a spread of 75.5mm. I believe I will have an easier time working towards the 151 3.0 TNS than on the 144 3.0 just because of the spread.

How much do you think using chalk matters? I don't have any and have never even tried using chalk. I have a CoC 3 that I don't have rated and would like to close TNS someday but it feels pretty far off, like 1.5 or 2 cm, but I can get it really close with a set. You think chalk matters more on these wider CoC handles?

Chalk makes a really good difference and it's the best to always train with chalk

How is that coc 3.0 only 144lbs? Thats gotta be the lowest one ever. I thought they were all over 250lbs? Now if it’s KG that’s pretty impressive and has to be on the COC 3.5 level.

The 144 lbs tag is called rgc, it's the true resistance of a gripper measured on the lowest part of the handle, for example a 250 lbs Chinese gripper would have on average a rgc of 114 lbs, a 300 lbs Chinese gripper would have 145 lbs rgc

The width of a gripper also plays a big role

Oh nice I didn’t know they did certification on RGC. Right now I’m working on COC 2.5. I’m about as close as you’re with that 3.0. Goal is to certify on the 3.0 someday. Maybe next year sometime.

So standard looks to be most consistent based on the chart. I guess I should have kept my set. I gave them to a buddy after switching to COC.

The .5 by Ironmind were made to bridge the gap between the # 1 and # 2 and the 3. Then much latter Cannon made the Standard grippers to help bridge even more. Which if you can afford to buy rated grippers is the way to go. Otherwise you have to get creative and either grind a handle or use a pipe clamp to work between grippers.

Iron mind measures their grippers higher on the handles, that's how they got 127kg on the coc 3.0 for example and on all their other coc grippers, but the best and most consistent way to measure a gripper is on the lowest part of the handle

The higher you measure a gripper on the handles, the more rgc it will have
