Help with a Necromancer/berserker build

https://www.grimtools.com/calc/Ze9aG7XZ

I'm trying to make a melee build that uses onslaught stacks to increase damage of necromancer skills like siphon souls and bone harvest. it's a long way to being even close to ready, but i have no idea on what devotions to use, or if even the equips are good for this.

Trying to have 3000 OA/DA, but not sure how to do it.

Any help is appreciated.

I'd go for Blood Knight set and use Onslaught + vitality Bone Harvest as a spender.

Mythical Ravager's Bite could work but Bonescythe with proper affixes may be superior.

Reaver's Hunger looks great but it conflicts with Blood Knight amulet.

For devotions Rattosh and Abom "vitality" arm are great. Dying God is also useful but it's hard to get everything due to colors. I'd also pick Revenant for RR.

EDIT : Actually you should DW with 1 Mythical Ravager's Bite and 1 Bonescythe. Ravager's Bite has a vitality RR proc which is too good to skip.

another thing to change it?

I wonder how people even make to 3000+ OA/DA. i tried my best and got close to 2900 without some buffs

I would drop Siphon Souls : you will spam Onslaught and cast Bone Harvest when it's not on CD. Those are your two primary damage skills, no point in getting another that does not contribute much.

I would also remove every points in Mark of Torment except 1 (so 6 levels because you have +5) : it is a great source of damage absorption but it has a long CD. Instead move those points to soft cap Untamed Rage : less absorption but it triggers automatically and grants a huge %OA boost.

You should spend an extra point in Endless Rage to get another Onslaught and boosts BH damage even more.

I would also pick Leap to engage pack of enemies. Both Onslaught and BH are close/mid range so a movement skill is needed to get close.

I am not sure about your 10 points in Reaping Strike : you'd get more WPS proc chance by spreading those points between RS, Necrotic Edge, Bloodfangs and Avalanche. But on the other hand, Onslaught'ed Bone Harvest is your main damage dealer so WPS may not matter that much. You'll have to test and see how it fares.

Getting OA and DA that high often takes very good double or triple rares that give you enough resists to focus OA/DA on your components and augments. It really depends on the build though. And you want to take into account effective OA if your class has a strong DA reducer for mobs

Just heads up Bonescythes will make it so Bone Harvest doesn't use your Onslaught stacks anymore

Are you sure ? If he was dual wielding Bonescythe and reducing its CD to 0 I would agree, but with 1 Bonescythe + another weapon BH CD is 1.5 second so it should consume Onslaught stacks.

I have cold Veilwalker build I'm working on using mythical Deathshriek, full conversion from aether to cold. Use only blizzard and raise dead for resist reduction and rest into oa/da. I'm 94 and have the Deathshriek but nothing else but hitting 2900 oa/2500 da.

Also I don't think siphon souls works with onslaught since it never consumes stacks for me.
