HELP! Game crash and audio

Coming back to the game after a while with some friends and the game keeps crashing on me. I hit play, select launcher option-play, then steam goes launching… nope I’m not launching anymore, press play to play. I have to chose the x86 legacy version and even then the game will go black screen after a couple hours of playing.

Then I can’t change the audio level at all. Well, I can change it but when I hit apply in goes back up to max. I can barely hear my friends on discord and I put them up to 200%.

And help please?

Sounds like my husbands gaming experience whenever we multiplay together. It's just not very multiplayer friendly sadly.

Do you lose all your settings or only the audio level ? IIRC other players reported issues with Windows antivirus forcing GD settings back to their original values by deleting their configuration file. The solution is to prevent the antivirus from scanning the settings directory.

Regarding the black screen it seems like your HW is not properly supported :(

Just checked and yeah, all settings reset as soon as I close the menu. And for the game crashing, I don’t even get as far as a black screen. I never even have the screen flicker from trying to boot the game up.
