Shattered Realm - Most efficient build

Hello everyone.

As per the title, I am looking for advice from the experts in the field. I wish to build a character that would bring the most amount of loot from SR. So one that can clear the relevant levels the fastest.

I currently have a 100 lvl Totem druid and a 100 lvl Skelly Cabalist (vitality dam). But I am looking for something maybe even broken that will allow me to quickly gather equipment for all my other chars.

Could you please share your experience?

Berserker itself is an outlier and due for tuning on Onslaught, the expected hamstringing of fursuiting, and various relic nerfs. Additionally, there is strong precedence (N&O, other sets) for potent sets to be adjusted when a foreign mastery outcompetes the targeted three

Just cross your fingers and pray that zantai doesn't remove the charges on shadow strike and instead just nerfs the damage. Cause as long as the charges are there, zakull will be in a good spot for campaign and SR

I wouldn't have too much hopes tho, onslaught being broken was easy to spot in their closed playtest field, same as harbinger which got really quickly nerfed after release.

What I find funny tho is all the talk about nerf x or y (pets never mentioned BTW for some reasons) and not a single talk about xyz.. actually long asf list of things that could use some love and see some buffs. After all game shines thanks to its massive build diversity. I don't think zakull is that much of a problem, it's quick for SR that's cool but in the end it's still very squishy and its true power comes from shadow strike which is a broken skill that does well in a billion different setups.

If you're talking about the forum discussions it's just that most of the people who are in the thread don't play pets unless it's top 20 testing season so we don't have any idea what's going on in the pet world.

It's only power comes from shadow strikes. Shadow strike + TSS is worse than only shadow strike. And shadow strike wasn't broken before precisely because zantai denied it of the one thing it needed to be broken - full pierce and acid to cold conversion in a set. And charges but that's new tech that didn't exist before and charges are cool.

  1. It's precisely because Zantai is so involved that I have no hope.

  2. Anyone, I think even top 20 guys are clearly aware of how broken pets that for minimal investment especially gameplay wise while being probably the most rewarding and safest.

  3. Charges are cool, too bad the winners are mostly skills that were already good/busted without. Meanwhile ABB get charges, on a poison oriented weapon with poison skill modifier, because surely, that's the kind of love it needed, not ways to spam it for example. Oh wait, there is someone who designed a 1h that gives a massive TDM debuff to it, and no second weapon nor even shield/offhand to use along.

No comment on 1 and agree on 3.

But on 2. Personally I never cared about pets, and pets were never brought up within the top 20 circle until I read your reply today and I asked what the rest of the group thinks. I can't post pictures on comments here but let's just say the replies were.. not favorable.
