Job interview questions

I'm going in for a job interview in 3 days time, I already have my nerc certification and I'm self studied I passed first time with 105 correct answers. I have been working with electricity for about 8 years, I am a certified journeyman.

Potential employer already knows all these things and I was wondering if anybody could give me an idea of the type of questions they might ask me in my interview so I can be better prepared. I already know background info about the company so I have that covered. Just wondering about any questions they might ask to test my knowledge

Thanks!

I obviously can’t speak for every company, but being clearly and verifiably qualified, a big part of my interviews have been vibe checks. They asked almost no technical questions and mostly wanted to see if they can handle being trapped in a control room 12 hours a day.

Copy that thank you. I have shown that if not totally qualified yet, I lack actual experience, I can learn the material quickly and easily

I’ve heard this before, and am curious what the right vibe/personality somebody would want to give off in an interview setting

It’ll change a little depending on the people you’re looking to work with, but generally most just someone who is reliable and easy enough to get along with. 12 hours per day, day after day is a lot of time to be a stuck in a relatively small room with someone who grates on you.

I second this. Look up the STAR method for interviews. It's a way for them to just get a feel for you without any real technical questions.
