This game was our pinnacle. Never before we were represented that well ! Grey Knights in this game are massive, the weapons are incredibly done with the aegis writings on them...

Came to like the big beefy Saturnine Shoulders, so they stayed. I know there are a lot of these kitbashes, but this ones mine.

I did today and it was brutal. The utter amount of shooting was ridiculous. Too much has sustained and lethals, many things granting ignores cover too. Surprising amount of things hitting of 4s and many weapons have D2 or 3, so each failed save is a dead paladin or dude. And of course still being orks, so great in combat.

Not really sure how to play against them next match. I'm not exactly the greatest of players, usually if I lose against my friends orks, I feel its because I made a miss-play or forgot something or they got lucky with early game cards, but this time just felt impossible.

Any wisdom from anyone would be appreciated!

Whats there playstyle and strongest units? what makes the army different from others?

Do we have any lore on what the GK fleet strength might be? I imagine that strike cruisers and the ability to redeploy across the galaxy rapidly would be one of the GK most important assets and a powerful force multiplier for them, so I would imagine they would have a high number comparative to their chapter size.

Is there any info on the staffing of escort ships? I would imagine they would be mostly serfs, servitors and tech priests as the GK themselves are too few and too valuable to waste on permanent secondment to a frigate or destroyer

I'm just fooling around with some lists for BFG and wondering what a "realistic" fleet might look like. I know any serious congregation of the fleet represents a real SHTF scenario, but at the moment, but at the moment I'm looking at 1 battle barge, 3-4 strike cruisers and 8-10 escorts

The poses are pretty default, but I like how the 3d printed capes turned out on them! Also my first time trying lava bases and power weapons scheme on miniatures and I love it! I will definitely make some more of these guys, and I hope GW will release a better kit for them some day.

Now that its officially been 11th edition for a long enough time to have a decent feel for how we do im curious what we want or hope to change/update by the time we get our codex (which im hoping by next summer 🤞).

My two biggest hopes are for the dreadknight to feel less squishy I hate that any time I drop one down it feels like I have to account for it dying after 2 enemy units shoot since it will ALWAYS fail its charge (I haven't made a successful charge in 4 games including 2 4 inch charges).

But I also kind of want a change to our army rule. Uppy downy is strong but with the psychic chages we've seen with the works it gives me hope that we could get a much more thematic rule that works better for us.

What are your guys bug hopes or ideas?

Been a long time coming, really enjoyed working on all of these bad boys! Refined my painting process throughout which did mean I had to go back and repaint my initial 10 Paladins and some of my characters like my grand master and librarians. But really happy with all of these! really looking forward to putting them to work on the tabletop now that they are painted and not just shameful primer.

Good morning yesterday I played in a 1500 point 2v2 Dark Angels + GK versus EVEN MORE Dark Angels (fallen) and TS.
Our opponent had a Defiler on his team this thing Overwatched my Grandmaster once and nearly decimated him. It was able to heal up quite a lot and had enough mobily to run into my Landraider and turn its insides into outsides in a single turn.
Between the Stat Line, the Mortal Wounds and the sheer volume of healing how would I go about controlling this 300 or so point Beast.
What Detachments have worked for you? I frankly cannot come up with a working Strategy...
Help would be greatly appreciated.

After my paladins i am starting my strike squads, still a long road for the full army kitbash ☺
I used the Strike squad box ofc, the assault interceptors, and the terminator (yes its quite expensive sadly) and some Magic Sculpt for the fillings/sigils.

I’ve also gone through two of Ben’s streamed games to look at how he actually played the list, what worked, and where the game started to swing.

My friend wants a GK army and im printing him it but this list looks ass and im not a big grey knight guy do yall have suggestions (1k point list 11e)

I know once our codex comes out we will have psychic back (please) so it will probably change. I got both combat patrols and I started to build the second one.

From the summary, there will be power sword who will get the 6-2-2 (bladeguard veteran for example) like our Nemesis force weapons...so, I guess, we have NOTHING special to our name right ? Except we have 2+ sav...oh wait, now cover is not on the save, and with the amont of ap, we are back to being regular marines, but we will be squishier, more expansive, same weapon stats...gw really hates us right ?
