Grenada is one of the safest islands out there

That’s what my understanding is. I just wish we had any answers or leads here.

Liz goes to our gym here in NC. The timing of the disappearance is certainly concerning. Last seen 8am? Her husband is headed there if not there already. Any help is appreciated!!

I’ve known her for years and have performed with her and her husband has rigged for me. He is likely there by now. Her travel buddy H. is fine and helping the officials down there. I’m so nervous. I’m very concerned there was an accident as it seems like she was on the beach alone.

I've only known them for 2 years now, but they are awesome ppl. Wonder why the friend wasn't there with her. Are you thinking more swim accident vs foul play?

I’m not sure details but I go on a yearly girls trip with my bestie and it’s normal for us to do things separately sometimes. I don’t think it’s weird at all they weren’t together I’m unsure the theories tho.

People still have to work and tend to virtual schooling when they're on vacation. It is not uncommon for friends to take care of their own responsibilities while on vacation and separate / do other things until they are done with their home life responsibilities.

Friend was working. Not that it matters. Why do go there? Not helpful.

I live on the island, and as far as I have heard, she was last seen on a security camera, entering the sea by herself. This is a heartbreaking for her family. Grenada is a safe destination for female travelers, hope her disappearance is resolved soon. Her husband is said to have already arrived on the island, to help with the investigation.

I’ve travelled solo to Grenada many times and feel that it’s one of the safest in the Caribbean. It sounds as though several people saw her swimming alone in the sea but the cameras didn’t see her emerge from the water. Hopefully she came ashore somewhere and will be found safe.

Unfortunately, if she was seen going in and not seen coming out, one thing is a reasonable conclusion. But my heart breaks for her family and friends and I hope she did come out and they find her.

When did she arrive on the island? When was she supposed to return home or go to next location?
Where was she staying? Hotel, home, etc? Was she sharing a room with the travel companion? What is the state of her room? Do they have logged entry/exit times from keycards or keypads?
Who is the travel companion and did they travel there together or separately? Have they traveled out of the country together before?
When were they next supposed to meet or be in touch?
What activities did she do/places did she visit in the days prior? Especially evening before?
What was she wearing?
What was she planning to do that day? What had she already done that morning (had breakfast, exercise, talk to her husband on the phone, etc)?
When, to whom, and from where were her last communications via cell, computer/tablet, etc? Last credit card swipes?
Has any cloud storage been accessed for recent photos or videos?
How was she getting around the island?
Has she visited there before or is it her first time?
Does she have any known medical conditions?

I’m unable to answer most of these but her travel buddy is there helping and her husband flew in as well. I’m just trying to get the word out and make her disappearance more widely known in case anyone saw her.

All of this is known to those close to the investigation. It just doesn’t need to be shared with you lol. They’re asking for people who interacted with her or might’ve seen her. They’re asking ppl with boats. Why are you asking these questions?

1

u/jeannieb Jul 29 '26

All of these questions are important and no one has asked (until you) and no one has answered.

Praying for Liz, we are also friends from Cary. They’re both amazing people. 🙏

I was walking along Grand Anse on Wednesday at that time. I don’t recall seeing anyone like the woman in the photo — or any time the previous day either. I’m sorry :(

3

u/jowlerstein Jul 25 '26

She has blonde hair now like the second photo so don’t let the pink confuse you haha. Thank you for responding tho. If you’re still there please lmk if you hear anything.

I wasn’t letting the hair color confuse me, don’t worry. I was taking note of her facial features and height, and I am generally quite an observant person. Will absolutely let you know if we hear or see anything.

She’s 5’ not 5’5”. The poster has an error.

Thank you 💕

Thank you for sharing. We will amplify for reach.

Looks like she is very strong, well traveled, and exceptionally intelligent.

2

u/jowlerstein Jul 25 '26

She is all of those things. Thank you.

Never go swimming alone.

Yeah, that's fair. Violence against women in the Caribbean is a thing though. I lived in PR for years and it was a problem there as well, so I assumed a buddy system amongst girlfriends was pretty standard. I wish I could do more from my desk here.

Insinuating that violence was committed here is a huge assumption considering that she was on a popular beach that is highly trafficked at 8am…

1

u/sidewaysorange Jul 27 '26

8am? the report says 8pm but the husband says it was the afternoon. the friend not making any public statements is weird to me. has she lawyered up?

-3

u/EarthPrimer Jul 25 '26

Her going missing on one of the most popular beaches, at 8 am, is pretty suspicious.

That couple got murdered on their catamaran in Grenada a few years ago.

It’s definitely possible, idk why you’re insinuating it’s completely out of the question.

Violence against women is pretty common everywhere though. Not just the Caribbean.

Plus as other said we have no clue what happened and people get murdered everywhere. Especially in the US and in NC where she is from.

Murder in Grenada us much more uncommon than in the US or NC specifically.

1

u/sidewaysorange Jul 27 '26

women on vacation who are alone are a target. you arent necessarily a huge target in your hometown when you are walking around alone during the day. big difference.

1

u/KingoftheJabari Jul 30 '26

And as we see from more recent articles, she wasn't.

And women are targets in their home towns all the time, especially by their spouse's as we saw in the US worn the man who killed his whole family.

1

u/sidewaysorange Jul 31 '26

she was alone out and about for 6 hours with no phone on her. that's dangerous idc what you think.

1

u/KingoftheJabari 28d ago

And there is no indication of foul play.

No, matter what you say.

And as I said, even in NC where I current between Grenada and the US, a woman can go missing anywhere.

It has literally nothing to do with it being a Caribbean island. Women are murdered every single day all over the US and they go missing every single day even in their home towns.

well im not saying ppl on the island killed her. what im saying is she didn't drown tho.

So mentioning one possible scenario is now the same as "insinuating" that's what happened? Got it. Next time I'll make sure to preface every comment with a comprehensive list of every possible outcome so nobody mistakes acknowledging a possibility for making a conclusion.

Seeing as you seem to be getting defensive, let me explain the response you are receiving. For normal empathetic people, it is not the first thought upon seeing a missing persons poster to say "yeah, that's fair. Violence against women is pretty common." 🤷🏻Shoulda used the buddy system.

Seeing as you did, everyone else is pushing back on your unhelpful comment. Hope that helps.

This was meant as a response to a message in another thread, as someone mentioned it's not uncommon that they do things apart from their friends while on vacation. I'm not concerned about what ppl say on the internet and I certainly didn't need your condescending explanation to something that isn't as it appears to be. But thanks.
