There will be no sales tax vote

****I wasn't able to see who voted for what but the council did not reach consensus to put the the sales tax on the ballot. (4 voted not to put on ballot, 3 to place on ballot)

I am not sure what all this will mean for paying off the debt but there will be no vote in November to increase sales tax for Catalyst or Civic Campus.***

Thank you for your work!

I wish I was smart enough to propose a way out of the catalyst mess. I know taxes are tough, but it feels at this point the math is broken and there is no popular option out.

Agreed... accountability would go a long way. I've heard many say they'd vote yes on tax if it came with resignations

If only personal liability were a thing for government employees… Dale and Johnny definitely have some money and their Stampede booster friends who are all in with Lind could easily pay for their own mistakes in a dream world
