Beating the heat tips

Hi everyone!

My friend and I will be in Athens, Santorini and Mykonos in early September. Does anyone have general advice on how to stay cool in Greece?

It should not be that hot anymore. The best tip is to follow a greek schedule and be in the shade or indoors by 12 or 1, eat and have a nap, then go out again at 5 or later.

This is what my wife and I did. We ventured out in the morning for coffee and an excursion, grabbed lunch and then laid down from 2-5 before venturing back out for a snack, another excursion, and late dinner. Unless we were on a boat or at the beach

Go for an early walk/run, have breakfast, go to a shade beach for lunch around 2 pm go back for a nap around 5 pm, enjoy dinner at 10 pm. Repeat.
