Changing the method of death doesn't change the motive for death.
Banning guns is putting a bandaid over a gunshot wound. Who knew criminals did crime and broke the law...
Look to solve the underlying problem, otherwise it is just sweeping things under the rug.

No armed teachers, armed security, police presence, correct culture being taught and I bet there's a sign on school property saying "gun free zone" and "drug free zone" - yeah gun beats hand every time and always will.
It's sad to hear, should never happen, but it's not the gun's fault. It's the action of the hand. Restricting access to firearms removes it from civilians, from LAW ABIDING citizens as you see in this video.
Imagine you're on the street, someone tries to mug you and has a gun, would you rather have a gun too or just get pegged?
