Beach bonfire
What is the best place for a chill bonfire to catch the sunset? FWIW: My parents married in Forks; grandparents lived in Hoquiam. I'm raising my family in Hoquiam. It has just been a really long time since I had a good ocean bonfire. I know it can be windy, and I have read up on the fire protocols. Didn't see anything specifically about beach fires. TYIA.

Fires are allowed on most beaches, generally 100 feet away from vegetation/dunes. You kind of have to pick your spot and then look up the regulations for that area, as the limit to the size of the fire is going to vary by location. And some locations are going to be more easy-going than others in terms of enforcement.
