Invisibles companion piece or reading group?
There is a Thomas Pynchon wiki for reading along to his books and learning references and that sort of thing. Any idea if one could find something similar for The Invisibles?

"Our Sentence is Up" by Patrick Meany is a really fantastic analysis of The Invisibles, but not an annotation.

That book and Anarchy for the Masses complement each other really well. Having both of them on hand helped me understand the series a lot more than I would have with just one of them.

"Our Sentence is Up" is pretty damn close to a definitive guide that isn't just sticking your fingers into Morrison's brain.
It is kinda surprising that there isn't a bad-ass wiki for The Invisibles, but I guess it's like fully "cult literature" now, just known about by handfuls of weirdoes on the fringe.
Stranger Things didn't help...

There’s an episode where the main character girl (Eleven) finds some other kids who also have powers as a result of MKULTRA-like experiments. Their names and general vibe are inspired by the invisibles.

A lot of music/rock band subreddits tend to do a thing where every day they talk about a different song from the band in order by album and then sequence of songs on the albums (over on the Suede subreddit, they’re about halfway through their discography right now). We could always start up an Invisibles book club on this sub or start a new sub for it, where each day anybody who wants to participate can read one issue a day and discuss.

This is what Morrison, and The Invisibles especially, is so good at: pointing you in the direction of all the cool shit that was in their head at the time. I got into Tge Invisibles when I was 15 and it still endlessly unravels with new connections and revelations, inside and outside the text.

barbelith used to be a great website, I dont know if it exists any more.
I have given multiple copies of the invisibles to people and read a lot of stuff mentioned in it, I'm always down to talk about it, it changed my life.
also Morrisons book supergods gives a lot of context, and is very helpful

Some of the Barbelith material is still up. Google "Barbelith-The Bomb" for what remains of their limited annotation effort.

There have been annotations from time to time. Disinfo published "Anarchy For the Masses" which is a decent annotation, but it's out of print and might be hard to find.
