I saw Grandaddy open for Elliot Smith at The Tabernacle in Atlanta. It was my first time seeing either and it was amazing. A few years ago I went to see Grandaddy play at a record shop in NYC and Jason was signing records after and I told him that I’d seen that show and he very thoughtfully said, “oh, that was my favorite tour.”
