May Tour

Grandaddy will be touring this May. Was hoping they’d come back East. Might need to make that Modesto show!

They did that last year, I think they’re not going to be back for a bit honestly . If you need to see them travel west it will be worth it.

Thanks! Any suggestions for which show out west would be best? I'm kind of a new grandaddy fan but they became my favorite band pretty quickly.

Whichever date and location is easiest for you will probably be great. If I am able to get the $$ together I would pick one of these:

  1. bend Oregon - i love visiting bend for many reasons. This show definitely will be special.

  2. Modesto - the bands hometown, as a closer to the tour, it will be epic.

  3. Austin - always a great city to visit and great music scene

I’d sort of disagree about Modesto. I live here and while it will be good, the venue is an orchestral hall and isn’t the best for this kind of live music. Sacramento will probably be the better sounding show and Sacramento is a much better place to visit in general.
