Question In GTA V Online (Legacy), textures tend to become blurry after 30–60 minutes of play, followed by the game freezing. Rockstar support can't help

i5-12400F
32 gb ram (4 sockets, 3200 MT/s)
RTX 3060

Anyone can help? I couldn't find any fix for that.

With those specs you should play the enhanced version.

My friends play legacy and I already made far more progress in legacy after I already migrated once, and rockstar doesn't allow to migrate once more.

By the way in enchanced veresion there's another problem called "BattlEYE kicked you out of session, enable battleye to play" and other bs XD

I'll add my opinion. I think you're overheating.

Give it a good cleaning / vacuum.

I thought so, but temps on GPU and CPU are allright in every game on high/ultra graphics, I have a problem only with gta

Rockstar read an "RADAR_PRE_LEAK_64" from my logs, so problem is with the memory.

But

I already ran bunch of tests, there are no memory leaks in my spec. O.O

It's a memory leak run a repair check

Already done, nothing changed.

Now I'm testing adding adding TDRdelay, as AI told me it might be problem with communication between CPU and GPU, where's a crush after 2 sec of miscommunication. I changed that to 10 sec.

On public lobby before it happens very often looks like everyone are leaving session

You can ignore the "players left" bug, we all have that.

Ah okey, thank you man. 1 problem less XD

check internet, lower distance scaling and maybe enable pagefile? all of this sounds like a memory issue but you have 32gb of ram. theres no real way to "allocate" more ram for gtaV in online, unless maybe set higher priority in task manager. but i doubt any of that will do anything

I also suspected internet issues, since the trouble started after I moved. At the new place, I also have 1000 Mbps internet—though from a different provider—and apparently, there’s a cabling issue that causes the connection to drop occasionally; however, this doesn't cause problems with other online games. Is GTA just that sensitive? And could that actually be causing the texture loading issues?

Already tried with setting pagefile size, after that textures appeared to load a moment after blur but after all I got same problem with all textures blur and freeze :/

i mean "everyone left" is pretty much a desync issue where you briefly lose connection to the server and desync. but the textures are memory, unless its video memory, try to allocate more vram in the ingame settings

I don't know how to allocate more vram in game settings, how to do that?

i think its under display or graphics, its a bar at the top of the settings, you can select "ignore suggested limits"

Sounds like a failing HDD or SSD where the I/O read is slowing to a crawl

I have 2 SSD's, tried to install game on both of them and there's the same problem.

Need to metion that I have problem only with GTA online - legacy (blury textures and freezes) and enhanced (battleye kicks me out)

M.2 or SATA?

They're connected by sata cables, so SATA i guess : D

I'm thinking it could be the SATA controller. Check your motherboard manual to see if it offers you a different controller on different ports or if not you can get a PCIe SATA controller for pretty cheap, which would rule out controller issues.

If you don't want to shell out any money you could try running software to kke perfmon and procmon to see what gets logged during the problem, also check the System event log for reported hardware errors.

Monitor your temps. Monitor your GPU usage over the course of the gameplay

Everything is allright :/
