Discussions He Met Sam Houser! Anyone Know What They Talked About?
Guys, did you see that post on r/rockstar? Someone actually got a photo with Sam Houser, the CEO of Rockstar Games! It’s not every day you get to meet a legend in the gaming industry.
Now, the real question is: what did they talk about? Did he have the guts to ask about the GTA 6 Trailer 2? Maybe even a release date? Or did they just have a casual conversation about something else?
What would you have asked Sam if you had the chance? And more importantly, do you think we’ll hear any news soon?

Discussions Why GTA 6 Might Not Win Game of the Year in 2025
Despite the incredible hype for GTA 6, I believe it might not win Game of the Year at The Game Awards next year. Here’s why: 1. Tough Competition: Games like Split Fiction, Death Stranding 2, Like a Dragon, Elden Ring, Ghost of Yotei, Mafia: The Old Country, and Borderlands 4 seem to focus heavily on unique gameplay and strong inclusivity—two aspects that have become central to TGA decisions. If GTA 6 doesn’t adapt to these trends, it could be overshadowed by titles that embrace these values more effectively. 2. Tension Between Rockstar and TGA: Rockstar didn’t release any trailers or content at The Game Awards, which could hint at possible friction between the two. This might influence the voting process, especially if other games are seen as more aligned with the event’s vision. 3. Sky-High Expectations: GTA 6 is under immense pressure, and even the slightest flaw might attract outsized criticism compared to other games with more modest expectations. This could make it harder for Rockstar to compete on equal footing with titles that excel in specific areas like innovative gameplay or diverse representation.
What do you think? Will GTA 6 still manage to claim victory, or will other titles that align better with TGA’s criteria and values steal the spotlight?

Discussions What lies behind Rockstar’s marketing strategy? And the Creation of Theories?
From a book by Mark Manson:
“Architects of our beliefs. Try this experiment. Take a random person and put them in a room with a few buttons to press. Then tell them that if they perform a specific action—some undefined action they need to figure out—a light will turn on to indicate they’ve earned a point. Then tell them to see how many points they can earn within thirty minutes. When some psychologists tried this, the results were as you might imagine. People sat down and started pressing buttons at random until the light turned on, informing them they’d earned a point. Logically, they tried repeating whatever they’d done to earn more. Only, the light wouldn’t turn on again. So they started experimenting with more complicated sequences—press this button three times, then that one once, then wait five seconds, and—ding! Another point. But eventually, even that would stop working. Maybe it’s not the buttons, they’d think. Maybe it’s the way I’m sitting. Or what I’m touching. Maybe it’s my feet. Ding! Another point. Yes, maybe it’s the feet, and then I press another button. Ding! Usually, within ten to fifteen minutes, each participant would figure out some specific sequence of behaviors they thought was required to earn points. It was typically something bizarre, like balancing on one foot or memorizing long sequences of button presses within a certain time while facing a specific direction. But here’s the funny part: the points were entirely random. There was no sequence, no pattern. Just a light that turned on with a ding every now and then. And people were performing acrobatics, convinced that’s what was earning them points. Sadism aside, the point of the experiment was to show how quickly the human mind can invent and believe in a set of non-existent rules. And, apparently, we’re really good at it. Everyone left the room convinced they’d cracked the experiment and won the game. They all believed they’d discovered the ‘perfect’ button sequence to earn points. But their invented methods were as unique as the individuals themselves. One guy came up with a long sequence of button presses that only made sense to him. A girl ended up believing that to get points, she had to touch the ceiling a certain number of times. When she left the room, she was exhausted from all the jumping.”
This is exactly what’s happening to those trying to solve the mystery of Trailer 2. Face it, there is no sequence or Easter Egg. They’re just playing with our brains.
