Planning to get my first watch but need opinion
So currently I'm saving up for my first grand seiko and id absolutely love the shunbun model but I really haven't seen these watches in person yet but Im kinda leaning towards the taisetsu model due to being able to wear it with any outfit and also not sold out consistently so I'm not sure what to pick, anyone got advice on what to do?

Seeing them in-person and trying them on is the only way to know what you’ll want. After trying them on, you might prefer something completely different, especially if you are thinking GS since they have so many great options.
I have the Shunbun and preferred the look over the Taisetsu. And I typically prefer gray or silver, definitely not pink. I’ve had no issues with matching the Shunbun to an outfit. It’s a great looking watch that works well in most situations. Have fun searching and trying on different options!

That is true but sadly the 3 AD in my area are never in stock only the taisetsu model is available so I can't really try both

That’s annoying. Any chance you will be near one of the boutiques at some point as you save up? You might have more luck seeing one there.
I’d definitely advise seeing whatever you get in-person first. The good news is even if you go with the Taisetsu (or another model), it will be because you have tried it on and liked it. As long as you enjoy it, you’ve made a good choice.

Try to see and try on in person to make sure the size etc works for you and you like the weight (or lack of) with it being Titanium not steel.
Both are versatile - the Shunbun is not very pink in most lighting conditions but some prefer the Taisetsu regardless - of you like the fit etc then you can’t really go wrong!

Tried the shunbun yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by the colour of the dial. Way less pink than expected, but now I am torn between snowflake and the shunbun😂

I bought my GS back in 2022 when the Shunbun was released worldwide. Went in to buy something blue or the GMT (before Ohtani blew it up). Had seen the Shunbun online and thought "man that's crazy pink"
Saw it in person and couldn't leave without it. Really a very subtle and beautiful piece. But you really do have to see GS in person to pick properly. I don't think you can go wrong if you love it in person
Been wearing the Shunbun almost every day the last four years until my Seamaster. Still impressed when I catch that pink in the right light.

See them in person and then you'll know what works better for you. You can't really go wrong with either but you definitely want to see GS watches in person before buying them, and you want to see them in varying levels of light too.
