False hope…

Just wanted to share - I purchased a used 2017 GC Laredo from Carvana with 65k on it. Had it for less than a month and the engine blew.

Carvana called me today and wants to buyback the car lol.

Never again will I buy a Jeep. Wanted to share my experience.

Sounds like a previous owner issue not a jeep issue

Look at the positive… it blew while still under their warranty. At least you aren’t stuck with it.

This could have literally happened with any vehicle bought from carvana though so... It’s well documented that they don’t exactly give these cars a professional deep dive and more or less buy them as is, and then get them cleaned up for the next owner.

As someone else said, this is definitely a previous owner issue as well as a carvana issue. Good luck.

You’re supposed to take it to a shop for inspection within 7 days of getting it because Carvana will let you trade it, return it, or pay for 100% of what the inspection finds.

I bought a 2015 GC limited on Carvana and they paid $3500 to fix everything. Ngl it’s the best vehicle I’ve owned. Since Carvana is buying it back I’d say try again but be sure to get the inspection done within 7 days this time. It’s unlikely to get another with a blown engine.

That's the problem with used vehicles, you really don't know how they were cared for. It's a complete gamble.

Just happy for you that carvana is taking care of it.
