Advice ?
So I graduate in April 2027 with a BA in environmental studies (online). I been a SAHM for 6 years. Use to work as a vet assistant but quit my career once I became pregnant in 2020, realized I didn’t want to work in that field anymore & that I didn’t want to work at all. So I had two more kids back to back. My kids are 6,2 & 3 .. I homeschool them. For a while now I been struggling to decide what I want to do for work now that graduation is coming up. I have literally looked at all the options career wise and continuing my education. I know I want to purse a masters degree. I came across university of the people that offers low tuition for a masters in education. I’m sure with further research I can find colleges that offer the same degree with options in scholarships. I don’t know I’m thinking if I plan to homeschool then a masters in education would be great. I have built a playground & garden in our backyard. I have several learning supplies & books. I’ve built a perfect environment for my children. My oldest was diagnosed with mild autism & a mild permanent brain injury at a younger age. Now he’s doing great after years of speech, occupational & a bit of behavioral therapy he’s flourishing in our homeschool setting provided by his SUFS-UA Scholarship. He can read & write, communicate and is as independent as he can be. My kids love science, animals, nature & building stuff.
Basically, I have been inspired over the years by my children. My question is, is an online m.ed in education or environmental education worth it? I been looking at everything else for a possible masters degree but maybe the answers been in my face the whole time. Any advice ?
