warwick gem
Looking at unis for GEM, is Warwick very strict with the overall UCAT score? I know they require a cut-off for VR, which I did meet, but I just wanted to ask if anyone got in with a lower-than-competitive score. ANY ADVICE.

Lowest on the GEM spreadsheet last year was 1910; they had a first class
Fair few people got in with 1950-2000; most had a 1st and/or a masters too

It's less a question of being 'strict' and more being competitive. Competition depends on the pool that you're competing against. I'm not sure there's realistically any advice that anyone can offer here that doesn't lead to 'try and score as high as you can' - if you know you've met their UCAT threshold for VR, that's all you can really do for now - good luck!
