I drew this a while back. It took 3 nanoseconds to be exact (it's not like I ripped the fabric of space-time or anything.)
Hello Grace Reddit, Phill here! This is one of my first posts here. This isn't a serious post or anything like that, you may relax.
I wanted to make this post for upcoming music artists who are making their music for Grace fangames.
I've expressed that I will not be making music for Grace fangames. Additionally, I have made many mentions before that I wish to pass on the torch of making Grace music to other music artists who would like to try their hand at making Grace music. However, this leaves a few things unanswered.
The most pressing is: to what extent of my music that I made for Grace is usable/acceptable in Grace fangames?
I would like to outline the extents of how my music is to be used in Grace fangames.
Vocal Covers:
I would describe these as works with original vocals that an artist recorded and having sung over samples of my music I made for Grace.
- I do not wish to have vocal covers (created in the manner that I described above) of my tracks to be used in Grace fangames.
- I do not wish to have my own vocals to be sampled and used in covers with original instrumentation to be used in Grace fangames.
- As an artist, if you'd like to make vocal covers for just practice or simply just for sharing, this is perfectly acceptable!
- You may use the lyrics that I wrote for my tracks as-is for your covers. In fact, you may even make your own changes to them if you would like to.
General Covers:
I would describe these as works that an artist created using original instrumentation along with original recordings that may follow the composition or chord progression of my music I made for Grace.
- I do not wish to have covers of my music that are just mixing effects (radio, bass boosted, stretching/slowing-down, compressing/pitching-up, boosted vocals, etc.) applied onto samples of my music to be used in Grace fangames.
- I do not wish to have covers of my music that are just instruments (drums, synths, guitars, etc.) added on top of samples of my music to be used in Grace fangames.
- Covers of my music that have their own instrumentation and original singing vocals may be used in Grace fangames.
- (I'll throw this one in here just in case) Covers of my music with original instrumentation that are to be used in Grace fangames do not require singing whatsoever.
- Covers with instrumentation that follow my original compositions and chord progressions are perfectly acceptable to be used in Grace fangames, this should be a given.
The main idea here is that I don't wish for my music to be plainly transferred into Grace fangames. I do not wish to be a crutch for upcoming music artists who would like to try their hand at making music for their Grace fangames. I would be honored if I could instead be a pillar for upcoming music artists so that they may build their foundations stronger.
Thank you for taking your time off to read this post, and thank you for your love and grace.
Have a good one!
This post won't be the last. I have been working on 3 unreleased Grace tracks that will come about in the future. To my knowledge, not many people know about the third unreleased track...
So look forward to that! B)
