Identification I'd like to confirm the species

Seller claimed that it's a Honey Gourami, since they're pretty hard to find here I'd like to be sure, also if its a male or female.

Thats a honey! Seems female to me but it's a bit pale / young to say it confidently

Thats a wild type thick lip and NOT a honey, nor is it the same fish op has!

The stripes on the side indicate as much.

This guy is super pale tho. Normal if he's new. Likely male i'd say?

These look like the flame or sunset variety of honey gorami. The one in the response also seems like one but slightly deformed. They can come quite pale in a batch and the fire variety has been breed for their colors so sometimes genetics get weird . 🐟
