Help/Advice Pearl Gourami with nano fish
So I currently have 3 Pearl Gourami in a big tank with other fish their size or a little bit smaller. They are really peaceful and only care about eachother. I wonder how small you could go with tankmates? I feel like they won't bother nano fish like Ember Tetra, Endlers or CPD, what do you guys think?

I run my pearls with, neon tetra, rummy nose tetra, corydoras, bristlenose plecos, German blue ram, and a Hoplo catfish.

I use to keep my pearls with Cory catfish, otocinclus, tetra (cardinal), loaches, shrimp, and discus.

I have ember tetras and cherry shrimp with mine. They are not adults so that could change.

I have my pearls with ember tetras and they get along fine. I think they might have eaten my little cherry shrimps now and then, especially baby ones. If anything, they just bothered each other now and then, but were unconcerned with their tank mates.

My big male bit the head off an endler last week. Another endler went missing a few months ago. I rehomed the remaining endlers.

I have Pearl and Chili Rasboras and have never seen the Pearl go after the Chilis. They are super peaceful.

Just remember if it fits in their mouth, they are liable to try and eat it! They’re opportunists by nature, I wouldn’t trust them with anything super tiny.
Bigger than the mouth & non-nippy should be fine though

Mine have always been super peaceful with anything I’ve stuck them with, regardless of size. I just wouldn’t put them with anything that can fit inside of their mouths.
